| Description: | We have been commissioned to sell a partial estate transferred from a home in Witherbee, NY to our auction building @ 2997 Broad St. Port Henry, NY 12974. The auction will begin at 11am sharp on Saturday March 6th. The following is just a general listing from a large assortment of items from the household. There are just too many items to list. Collectors of all sorts of vintage items will love this auction!
Knowls China & W.S. George collectible plates along with Russian & Chinese hand crafted painted plates. Certificates of Authenticity included with each. Several antique wall hangings, G.I. Joe and Barbie Doll collectibles, depression era glass, Ephemera paper items including an "attic find" of a 1916 scrap book with signatures,items from the now gone Mineville High School 1950's, an old trunk, some jewelry pieces, old rotary telephones, vintage hurricane oil lamps, aged golf clubs, nice old wagon and sled, many tools from the garage including grinders, scroll saw, electrical and hand tools, ladders, other general work shop items, fishing poles and tackle--like I said, this is very general list. I haven't had time to investigate some of the old flies and spinners, reels and poles. Water skis, stereo w/turn table, Torino wheel covers, very old books(again, there are many to see but too little time for me to investigate--come collectors, come!) wall mirrors, linens and blankets, camping supplies along with tents & sleeping bags, a nice old hiking back pack, umbrellas, punch bowl set, touch lamps, some furniture including an entertainment center that's all wood, rocking chair, oak framed sofa, computer desk, several general kitchen items like utensils, blender, toaster, ...you get the picture. Too many items to list! Several unsorted box lots will be offered in this auction with treasures just waiting to be discovered!
---- Viewing will be offered Friday March 5th 10am-4pm and one hour before the start of the auction.
---- 10% Buyers Premium to help offset the costs of having an auction(advertising, helpers..etc)
---- Nice warm facility with seating provided. Snack bar on site.
----cash preferred, personal checks from the area, all major credit cards (Yes, your tax refund debit cards can be used also!)
----We will only cancel this auction due to weather if there are snow warnings issued. Call ahead if questionable---518-546-3773....If rescheduled, the auction would be held the following Saturday.
